  2. I scored 100%. That's what you get after reading the Bible through and through on a daily basis for years. Of course, actually reading the Bible through and through prompted me to seek answers for many questions and eventually led me away from Christianity entirely. I suggest reading the Bible from cover to cover to everybody! http://theresafrasch.com/archives/298

  4. I also scored 100 percent. It felt good to click that last answer: Do you read the Bible?..."No." It just goes to show how ingrained this stuff is in people's heads--that even after 20 years away from it--I still score 100. At Sunday's lecture for ACA, Howard Miller said something to the effect of "You never get over it..." And he was SO right on.

  5. OMG - I scored 100% too. Which surprised me, because for several questions I was able to use my Bible knowledge to eliminate one or two, but still had to guess among the remainders.

This makes me want to put together my own Bible Quiz at that site. Questions like "In Judges 11, Jephthah reached an agreement with God that resulted in his burning what when he returned home? A) a bush, B) frankincense, C) his only daughter, D) a chariot."

"What kind of tree did Jesus curse to death because it didn't have fruit for him when he was hungry? A) Apple, B) Fig, C) Cedar, D) The Tree of Knowledge."

    Any more submissions?

  7. Stephen, thanks for the link.

Sometimes I listen to the FFRF podcast, but it seems like the hosts are medicated or something. Last year I heard some comments about the ACA breaking ties with the FFRF - what was the rest of the story with that?

  8. I took that test a long time ago. I scored a 91%. I really wanted to use by bible but I didn't. There were some questions I knew where to find them but not the actual answers.

  9. On the FFRF site, I only scored a 34:

30 - 39: Congratulations! Better informed than most Americans

  10. I scored 61%, and I've never read through the Bible. At best, the last time I touched one was several years ago. I just used guessing, some memory of what I've been told, and generous flipping of a quarter when I had it down to two choices.
